澳大利亞國內杯賽將在9月和10月進行 ，澳足澳足協希望本國最強的协希球員能為國出戰 。考慮到目前的望延外防疫政策 ，讓球員未來三個月每次9個比賽日回來在酒店隔離14天是长征不現實的。
