中超聯賽第4輪，国安缺兵少將的缺兵前放國安迎來武漢隊的挑戰 。即便對手開局未嚐勝績 ，仅剩假获但麵對來勢洶洶的两外良机李霄鵬的球隊 ，國安在比埃拉受傷 、援表金玟哉突然缺陣的现出不利局麵下也不敢有絲毫鬆懈 。但好在上賽季的彩提喘息金靴巴坎布本輪挺身而出 ，上演了梅開二度好戲 ，国安替補外援索薩首發出場也起到了應有的缺兵前放作用 ，最終國安客場2比0完勝武漢，仅剩假获不但收獲了兩連勝，两外良机也給困境中的援表球隊提振了信心和士氣 。
北京國安本賽季的现出開局並不能令人滿意 ，在賽季開始接連不敵上海雙雄後遭遇2連敗 ，彩提喘息上場比賽他們2-0擊敗大連人找回一些狀態 ，国安3輪過後積3分鍾排在總積分榜第11位 ，這顯然不能領國安球迷滿意 。雪上加霜的是 ，比埃拉上場比賽由於受傷將缺席接下來的比賽，韓國中衛金玟哉由於家人病重緊急趕回韓國，這不禁令球迷對於國安的本輪的前景捏了一把汗 。
但正如主帥比起來所說 ，球隊應該由本土球員扛大旗了 ，本輪對陣李霄鵬的武漢隊 ，比利奇沿用了上一場好用的中前場組合 ，張稀哲繼續擔任中場指揮官，池忠國、李可和年輕的高天意坐鎮中場 ，索薩頂替了金玟哉的缺陣 ，楊帆獲得首發機會出任右後衛 。比賽剛開場 ，國安就取得完美開局 ，張玉寧被姆比亞放倒 ，巴坎布點球命中 ，為國安取得領先打開了自己本賽季的進球賬戶 。之後埃弗拉和姆比亞製造威脅 ，侯森發揮出色化解險情 ，下半場巴坎布又是閃電破門完成了梅開二度 ，在比埃拉缺陣的情況下這位上賽季的中超最佳射手站了出來。
除此之外，張稀哲本輪的表現也令人稱讚，繼續擔任球隊進攻組織者，他和巴坎布的聯手爆發也讓國安以連勝收官第一階段 。而另一位救火外援索薩的表現也可圈可點 ，出現在中後衛的位置的他表現穩定 ，沒有辜負比利奇的信任 。經曆遇到上海雙雄的連敗之後 ，比利奇逐漸找到了國安的進攻鑰匙 ，本場重點演練的是邊路進攻 ，也收到了很好的效果 。
這樣國安以兩連勝的勢頭提前結束了此階段的比賽（第5輪國安VS河北比賽延期） ，在困境中能夠保證連勝著實不易 ，可見比利奇也逐漸掌控了球隊 。間歇期 ，國安隊內國腳很多 ，也希望球員們保持健康和良好的狀態歸來 ，爭取幫助國安繼續保持連勝的良好勢頭 。
