當時埃裏克森倒地後失去了意識，交流救護人員馬上進場對埃裏克森進行心肺複蘇 ，和队话希隨後埃裏克森被救護人員用擔架抬出場外 。望比根據現場媒體抓拍到的埃里照片，埃裏克森離場後已經恢複了意識 。隨後歐足聯官方宣布 ，埃裏克森已經送往醫院，目前病情穩定。
埃裏克森的經紀人接受媒體采訪時稱 ，“埃裏克森已經脫離危險 ，他的父親告訴我 ，埃裏克森已經可以說話了 。”
