此前弗洛倫蒂諾在接受采訪時就明確表示歐足聯沒有任何處罰歐洲超級聯賽的洲法依據 ，而皇馬 、曝皇巴薩和尤文圖斯也發表了聲明 ，萨文诉表示任何針對歐洲超級聯賽的酝酿院起用职處罰都不合法，並且未來歐洲超級聯賽是反击否可以存在 ，其合理性要交給法院進行裁決。计划
馬德裏法院被曝要求歐洲法院介入 ，到欧審查國際足聯、洲法歐足聯阻止歐洲超級聯賽的曝皇做法是否違反了《歐洲聯盟職能條約》第101條和第102條的內容 ，是否屬於濫用職權 。
西甲聯盟此前明確表示反對歐洲超級聯賽的成績 ，未來如果歐足聯的禁賽令下達 ，西甲聯盟可能安排歐冠門票的分布排名發生變化 。由於皇馬和巴薩每個賽季都能打進聯賽前4位 ，因此在未來可能遭到歐足聯禁賽的情況下 ，西甲聯盟可能安排聯賽第5位和第6位的球隊頂替皇馬和巴薩參加歐冠聯賽 。而歐聯杯的參賽位次也將順延 。
因此麵臨未來潛在的歐冠門票分配方式改變的可能 ，很多球隊此前已經無欲無求的球隊都需要在最後2輪繼續拚殺。比如巴薩下輪對手塞爾塔目前積50分位列第8位 ，距離第6的貝蒂斯還有5分的差距 ，理論上可能會獲得臨時改製後的歐冠門票。
