正在海口集訓的国奥1999年齡段U23國足 ，本月將迎來一場重量級比賽──“迪拜杯”上迎戰越南U23隊 。相当希望鑒於中國男足國家隊在前不久12強賽上曆史性地負於越南國家隊 ，重视战不再往中国足球中越準國家隊的越南較量更加引人注目 。
根據初定賽程 ，伤口撒盐U23國足將於3月23日 、国奥26日分別迎戰東道主阿聯酋U23隊和越南U23隊 。相当希望根據“迪拜杯”的重视战不再往中国足球報名要求 ，所有參賽隊伍必須符合U23組隊標準 ，越南除了克羅地亞隊之外 ，伤口撒盐其餘參賽隊伍都是国奥今年的U23亞洲杯決賽階段或杭州亞運會男足的參賽隊 ，對於極度渴望通過高水平賽事練兵的相当希望U23國足 ，是重视战不再往中国足球一次非常寶貴的鍛煉機會 。
2022年東南亞U23足球錦標賽於當地時間2月26日晚結束，越南越南U23隊以1:0力克泰國U23隊 ，伤口撒盐曆史上首次獲得該項賽事桂冠 ，足以說明越南足球近年來的進步 。阿聯酋方麵安排中越兩支準國家隊進行較量 ，也凸顯了一番苦心 。據悉U23國足對於這場比賽相當重視，不希望在中國足球傷口上“再撒一把鹽” 。本屆“迪拜杯”所有隊伍通過兩輪比賽分出排名順序 ，29日進行最後一輪的排位賽 ，確定最終名次。排名前兩位球隊爭奪冠軍 ，排名第三 、第四的隊伍決出季軍 ，以此類推 。
