本報訊(記者 趙睿)按照中國足協 、足今直接職業聯盟籌備組的年继計劃 ，新賽季中乙聯賽預計最快將於5月上旬拉開帷幕 。续参不出意外的加中降级話 ，由成耀東執教的乙联U20國足（2001年齡組 ，未來的参正常升中國國奧隊）將繼續通過中乙聯賽練兵 。
成耀東執教的足今直接這支隊伍上賽季利用中乙聯賽取得不錯的練兵效果 ，10戰4勝1平5負 ，年继隊伍方麵很早就表達了非常希望能夠繼續征戰新賽季中 、续参低級別職業聯賽的加中降级願望 。中國足協 、乙联職業聯盟籌備組考慮到這支隊伍成長的参正常升需要 ，同意其參加新賽季中乙聯賽。足今直接與上賽季不同 ，年继U20國青本賽季全麵參加中乙聯賽正常的续参升級 、保級競爭 ，其成績與排名掛鉤 ，這就迫使U20國足 、對手必須真刀真槍較量 。有一點目前還沒有確定的 ，一旦U20國青成績出色或降級 ，他們會否真的升級打中甲或降級打中冠 。
U20國青征戰新賽季中乙聯賽還麵臨另一道難題 。那就是，部分適齡球員亦可能是各級職業俱樂部的重點培養對象 、主力替補甚至主力球員 ，如果參加中乙聯賽卻無法征召全部精英到隊 ，那麽其鍛煉價值也會打折扣 。
