消息人士補充道，阿紮爾非常沮喪 ，並對至今仍未找到傷病根源而感到震驚。另一位消息人士則表示 ，阿紮爾最大的遺憾之一是沒有辦法回報齊達內對自己的信任 。而自加盟皇馬以來 ，阿紮爾的身價也一路下跌 ，目前隻剩下4000萬歐元 ，要知道 ，皇馬當初引進他花費了1億歐元。
不過 ，比利時主帥馬丁內斯相信阿紮爾可以“重生” 。馬丁內斯表示 ，阿紮爾在此前的職業生涯中極少受到傷病影響 ，並認為近年來頻繁受傷是來自於外界過多的關注度。他說 ：“希望阿紮爾能盡快地恢複狀態 。阿紮爾將是本屆歐洲杯的最佳球員 。我們對他充滿信心 ，希望在本賽季俱樂部的比賽結束前能見到他 ，那個我們熟悉的 、能決定比賽的阿紮爾 。”
