1. 曼聯比利亞雷亞爾在同一小組中 ，失误卻被放進比利亞雷亞爾的有处抽簽池中 。
2.利物浦和馬競也處在同一小組中 ，曼联马竞但利物浦也被放進抽簽池中 。抗议
3.曼聯沒有被放進馬競的抽簽池中。
隨後曼聯和馬競均向歐足聯發出抗議 ，歐足聯也迫於壓力決定重新抽簽 。
