在這件黃色T恤上 ，争议足球用挪威語印了這樣一句話 ：“女足既不是标语足球 ，也不是挪威女足女性女性 。”此事被媒體曝光之後 ，豪门布蘭俱樂部立刻成為了眾矢之的争议足球。這句話 ，标语顯然是挪威女足女性對女足 、對女性的豪门貶低甚至侮辱 。
在遭到炮轟之後 ，争议足球布蘭執行總監約翰內森立刻公開道歉 ：“這簡直丟臉到家了 ，在我看到這一幕時 ，我這輩子臉都沒紅成那樣 。我當時想，這怎麽可能發生 ？無論如何 ，我都立刻去拿下了那件T恤 。”
盡管布蘭進行了道歉 ，但挪威女足名將萊蘭德仍然抨擊了這種所謂的“幽默感” ：“這絲毫不幽默 ，也許他們隻想開個無關痛癢的玩笑 ，但這完全不幽默 。哪怕他們是為了搞搞笑 ，但作為挪威最大的俱樂部之一 ，他們也不能在牆上掛這種東西 。我們還有很長的路要走 。”
