北京時間7月14日淩晨，尼奥意甲勁旅羅馬隊在官網宣布 ，首签球隊簽下了狼隊陣中的罗马葡萄牙門將帕特裏西奧 ，為了得到這位葡萄牙的官宣國門 ，羅馬隊拿出了1150萬歐元的签葡固定轉會費 ，同時合同中還存在浮動獎金條款，萄牙雙方簽約三年 。穆里门神根據此前意大利媒體《全市場》的尼奥消息 ，帕特裏西奧的首签年薪為200萬歐元 。
穆裏尼奧已經成為了羅馬主帥 ，罗马他的官宣一舉一動也引發了媒體與球迷極大的興趣 。自從穆帥成為羅馬主帥以來 ，签葡在轉會市場上還沒有動作 。萄牙而就在北京時間的穆里门神7月14日淩晨，穆裏尼奧也完成了執教羅馬後的首個引援 。
羅馬在官網宣布，球隊從英超球隊狼隊簽下了葡萄牙門將帕特裏西奧 。穆裏尼奧將他視作保-洛佩斯的替代者 。據悉 ，羅馬隊會與帕特裏西奧簽訂一份為期三年的合同 ，合同到期日在2024年的6月30日。合同到期之時 ，帕特裏西奧將會年滿36周歲 ，這或許也是其職業生涯最後一份合同 。
為了簽下帕特裏西奧 ，羅馬隊將會支付給狼隊1150萬歐元的固定轉會費 ，同時合同中還存在浮動轉會費的條款。另外 ，羅馬也會給這位門將200萬歐元的薪水 ，而在新賽季 ，帕特裏西奧將會身披1號戰袍。
帕特裏西奧在加盟羅馬後也接受了采訪 ，他表示 ：“羅馬是一家大俱樂部 ，來到這裏也是一個新的挑戰 ，我很高興能嚐試幫助俱樂部實現目標 。我們談論的是世界上最偉大的教練之一——穆裏尼奧，我很高興開始與他合作 ，並希望可以盡我所能幫助球隊 。”
帕特裏西奧雖然年事已高 ，但是競技狀態出色，上個賽季為狼隊各項賽事出場37次 ，完成10多場零封 ，一共丟了51球 。在剛結束的歐洲杯上，帕特裏西奧出戰4場比賽 ，1場比賽零封對手，而且做出多次成功的撲救 。
