7月22日 ，国安冠在核心外援奧古斯托官宣離隊後 ，连换北京國安在遭重創 ，后卫在聯賽中0-2輸給了升班馬長春亞泰 ，锋线遭遇了連續2輪不勝，仍疲软身球隊在本輪比賽之後跌出了賽區前四 。陷保比輸球更令禦林軍鬱悶的区何是 ，球隊的谈争進攻出現了問題 ，運動戰多場不進球 ，国安冠上一次運動戰進球還是连换在今年5月巴坎布在對陣武漢隊的比賽中取得 。
本賽季誌在爭冠的后卫北京國安接二連三受到打擊 ，此前一直滯留巴西的锋线核心外援奧古斯托在本場比賽之前已經官宣離隊，而巴坎布也表態賽季結束後走人 。仍疲软身比埃拉傷勢還沒有得到恢複 ，陷保他們目前不得不以昔日的区何邊緣外援索薩應戰 ，而這很快在戰績上得到了反饋，上一輪國安就久攻不下最終被保級隊天津津門虎逼平 。
本輪對陣升班馬長春亞泰，國安本想通過勝利重振旗鼓 ，然而沒想到的是 ，麵對亞泰的防守他們絲毫沒有辦法，然而是亞泰率先抓住機會打出漂亮的門前配合 ，程長城頭球一點，譚龍突入禁區低射破門 ，場上比分變成了1-0，同樣是來自本土球員之間的配合 ，亞泰隊顯然比國安更好的抓住了機會。隨後第73分鍾李磊解圍出現失誤 ，孫捷亂戰中為長春亞泰再入一球 ，場上比分變成了2-0 。
久攻不下的國安不得不放手一搏 ，比利奇將 國安首發三名後衛均換下 ，但無奈鋒線20多腳射門就是無法完成致命一擊，最終隻能尷尬的接受了一場敗局 。由於在賽前 ，長春亞泰與北京國安隻有1分之差 ，分別以9分和10分位列蘇州賽區積分榜第5和第4名 。而前3名的積分最低也是11分 ，所以北京國安在輸球之後就掉入了保級組區 。而長春亞泰取而代之進入了爭冠組區 。
下一輪北京國安將對陣上海申花 ，以目前的狀態想要贏球可謂難上加難 ，比利奇如何做出調整極其關鍵 ，如果不能找到好的辦法 ，球隊接下來將不得不麵臨掉入保級組的尷尬 。
