7月22日 ，国安冠在核心外援奧古斯托官宣離隊後 ，连换北京國安在遭重創，后卫在聯賽中0-2輸給了升班馬長春亞泰 ，锋线遭遇了連續2輪不勝 ，仍疲软身球隊在本輪比賽之後跌出了賽區前四 。陷保比輸球更令禦林軍鬱悶的区何是 ，球隊的谈争進攻出現了問題 ，運動戰多場不進球 ，国安冠上一次運動戰進球還是连换在今年5月巴坎布在對陣武漢隊的比賽中取得 。

本輪對陣升班馬長春亞泰 ，國安本想通過勝利重振旗鼓 ，然而沒想到的是 ，麵對亞泰的防守他們絲毫沒有辦法 ，然而是亞泰率先抓住機會打出漂亮的門前配合，程長城頭球一點，譚龍突入禁區低射破門 ，場上比分變成了1-0，同樣是來自本土球員之間的配合 ，亞泰隊顯然比國安更好的抓住了機會 。隨後第73分鍾李磊解圍出現失誤 ，孫捷亂戰中為長春亞泰再入一球 ，場上比分變成了2-0 。
久攻不下的國安不得不放手一搏 ，比利奇將 國安首發三名後衛均換下，但無奈鋒線20多腳射門就是無法完成致命一擊 ，最終隻能尷尬的接受了一場敗局 。由於在賽前 ，長春亞泰與北京國安隻有1分之差 ，分別以9分和10分位列蘇州賽區積分榜第5和第4名 。而前3名的積分最低也是11分 ，所以北京國安在輸球之後就掉入了保級組區 。而長春亞泰取而代之進入了爭冠組區。
下一輪北京國安將對陣上海申花，以目前的狀態想要贏球可謂難上加難 ，比利奇如何做出調整極其關鍵 ，如果不能找到好的辦法 ，球隊接下來將不得不麵臨掉入保級組的尷尬 。
