在歐冠賽場上對戰曼城 ，布鲁布魯日球迷在賽前一定有很多憧憬。日表忍直畢竟自家的迷球迷捂球隊本賽季在歐冠比賽中發揮出色，他們在主場差一點掀翻“航母”大巴黎 ，下去现低最後是布鲁1-1戰平了對手 。而在第二輪比賽開始中，日表忍直他們客場在落後的迷球迷捂情況下最後成功逆轉萊比錫紅牛拿下勝利 。在本輪和曼城的下去现低賽前 ，他們在積分榜上可是布鲁力壓藍月亮的 。
不過此役開打後 ，日表忍直布魯日的迷球迷捂球迷還是認清了現實，看到了他們和頂級強隊之間的下去现低差距 。整個上半場比賽 ，布鲁布魯日在曼城的日表忍直傳控足球麵前疲於奔命 ，他們隻能被動地跟著藍月亮的節奏 。麵對德布勞內 、格拉利什等人的出色表現 ，他們隻能眼睜睜看著對手肆意發揮 ，能夠阻擋曼城球員前進的恐怕隻有布魯日球員的犯規了 。下半場比賽開始後，情況並沒有好轉 。沃克的破門徹底殺死比賽，而當曼城青訓小將帕爾默替補登場立馬就破門得分 ，收獲個人歐冠首球後 ，現場的布魯日的球迷看不下去了 。
從直播的鏡頭可以看出，現場兩位布魯日球迷不忍直視自己主隊的表現 。一位球迷右手托著自己的下巴 ，低頭在思考著什麽 。而當他轉頭看向自己的球迷兄弟時，發現他更是用手直接捂住了自己的臉部 ，我們已經完全看不出他的表情了 。不過在主教練連續調整後 ，大概比賽進行到第80分鍾的時候 ，布魯日球迷稍微得到了一絲安慰 。瓦納肯的破門得分為主隊扳回了一絲顏麵 ，不過為時已晚 ，這粒進球已經無法影響到比賽大局 。歐冠下一輪將是布魯日前往伊蒂哈德做客挑戰曼城 ，不知道屆時他們能否讓自己的球迷心情好一些 ？
