在完成了下一個三年周期內的轉播費銷售後，英超聯賽接下來已經準備好和英格蘭足球聯賽（英冠、英甲 、英乙）進行談判 ，有望提高分配給這三個級別職業聯賽的轉播費分成 ，以及改變目前的降級球隊降落傘保護機製 。
除了公布新的轉播費合同之外，英超各家俱樂部在這次會議上還對防疫規則以及球迷騷亂等問題進行了談論 。英超俱樂部希望能逐步放寬對球員 、工作人員 、球迷們的防疫限製 ，並且在今年5月恢複到疫情前的狀態 ，從下賽季開始可以不受任何防疫限製進行比賽 。近期英超賽場上球迷的各種違規甚至騷亂問題增多 ，俱樂部認為有必要采取一致的應對措施，安排更多的安保人員和客隊球迷一起去客場，或者在比賽中安排更多的警察入場 。
