經雙方友好協商 ，队官度效斯蒂芬·姆比亞（Stephane M'Bia）正式回歸加盟武漢足球俱樂部 ，布姆比亚時隔一年之後 ，回归他將重新披上橙袍為武漢而戰 。时隔
作為喀麥隆國家隊前隊長 ，年再姆比亞具備著豐富的中超國家隊履曆 ，代表喀麥隆參加了2010 、武汉2014年世界杯 ，队官度效征戰2008 、布姆比亚2010 、回归2013 、时隔2015共四屆非洲杯 ，年再並且在2008年北京奧運會中打滿全部四場比賽 ，中超總共為喀麥隆國家隊出場58次 ，成為喀麥隆國家隊中最出色的後腰之一。
同時，姆比亞擁有更加出彩的俱樂部效力經曆 ，在登陸中超之前 ，他的身影也一直活躍在歐洲五大聯賽之中 。2004-2009賽季 ，姆比亞代表雷恩隊征戰法甲105場 ，隨後轉會至法甲勁旅馬賽隊並迎來了職業生涯的第一次巔峰 ，三個賽季中作為主力征戰法甲69場 ，幫助球隊奪得多個法甲及法國聯賽杯冠軍 ，同時在歐冠 、歐聯賽事中獲得大量出場機會。2012至2015賽季姆比亞輾轉效力於英冠女王公園巡遊者隊和西甲塞維利亞隊 ，幫助後者蟬聯歐羅巴聯賽冠軍 。2016年初 ，姆比亞由土耳其超級聯賽特拉布宗體育隊轉會至中超河北華夏幸福隊 ，兩個賽季中代表球隊出戰中超39場，打進9粒進球 ，其實力受到各支球隊的關注和認可 。2018年，姆比亞回歸法甲加盟圖盧茲隊 。
2019年2月3日 ，姆比亞選擇重返中國 ，來到了以中甲冠軍身份衝超的武漢卓爾隊 ，整個賽季為球隊出場24次 ，並在防守端做出了巨大的貢獻 ，為球隊以升班馬的身份最終奪得聯賽第六名立下汗馬功勞。上賽季姆比亞轉會至上海綠地申花隊，在後防線上繼續表現不俗，在國內賽事中征戰13場比賽 ，同時在亞冠賽場也有5次登場機會 。
