本場比賽 ，乌兹上海U20全運隊在前16分鍾就打入兩球 ，别克奠定了勝局 。申花胜北第5分鍾，海港江勇捷左路角球發到禁區 ，小将携手門前包抄的京国劉祝潤頭球破門。第16分鍾，安多上海U20全運隊在右路打出精彩的人仍連續配合 ，江勇捷直塞殺入對方禁區的劉祝潤 ，劉祝潤得球後冷靜推射遠角入網 ，將比分擴大為2:0 。第36分鍾 ，齊龍在對方禁區前沿過人擺脫後果斷起腳 ，打出一腳世界波破門，從而以3 ：0領先結束上半場。
3球領先的上海U20全運隊下半場連續換人調整。第61分鍾 ，上海U20全運隊再次擴大比分 ，球隊在中路連續配合 ，陳申吉巧妙直塞 ，替補出場的宋潤潼得球後遠射得手 。第90分鍾，石一毅在對方禁區外就地反搶成功，連續過人後幾乎零度角打門得手 ，最終以5：0大勝北京U20全運隊 。
上海U20全運隊如願取得開門紅，不過也應該看到 ，這支北京U20全運隊的整體實力相對較弱。由於代表國安參加亞冠聯賽的個別隊員 ，仍在烏茲別克斯坦沒能返回國內 ，所以北京被迫臨時組建了一支由U20 、U19 、U18和U17隊員混編而成隊伍，自然難以與上海U20全運隊相抗衡。
上海U20全運隊是奪冠熱門球隊之一 ，隊伍以申花01梯隊為班底，還有劉祝潤等8名海港適齡球員 。這支隊伍中的多名球員實力比較突出 ，比如參加過中超、亞冠的朱越、劉祝潤等 ，還有入選了U20國青隊的費爾南多 、周正凱 、朱啟文 、宋潤潼等 。
根據賽程安排，上海U20全運隊將在9月11日下午16點迎戰小組賽第二個對手湖北U20全運隊，湖北U20全運隊在首輪比賽中以1:0戰勝了浙江U20全運隊 。
