利物浦的情利對手是升班馬伯恩茅斯，利物浦前三輪僅取得2平1負 ，物浦本場繼續反彈 。造球不過本場他們的曼城0反彈來得過於輕鬆了 ，麵對伯恩茅斯 ，半场迪亞斯在第2分鍾就接到菲爾米諾的神剧傳球頭球輕鬆破門 。3分鍾後，利物浦反動快速反擊 ，菲爾米諾中路接球後交給埃利奧特 ，後者禁區前沿左腳勁射破門 ！
利物浦的進攻依舊在繼續 ，第28分鍾 ，阿諾德和菲爾米諾連續做出配合 ，最後由前者轟出世界波破門 ！菲爾米諾半場已經三次助攻 ！3分鍾後 ，伯恩茅斯後衛不慎將球碰入禁區 ，菲爾米諾墊射破門，個人半場打進1球3助攻 ，已經提前預訂本場最佳。
不過利物浦的進球還沒停止，第45分鍾，範戴克接角球頭槌破門 ，利物浦5-0鎖定勝局 。曼城的對手是老克星水晶宮 ，上賽季的兩次交手中 ，曼城1平1負丟2球進0球 ，完全被對手克製 。本場比賽曼城依舊對水晶宮犯怵 。開場僅僅3分鍾 ，水晶宮任意球罰入禁區 ，沃克背部停球後打中斯通斯膝蓋 ，後者自擺烏龍 。
第20分鍾，曼城再度遭遇打擊 ，水晶宮獲得任意球，安德森高高躍起頭槌破門 ，曼城0-2落後水晶宮 ！第28分鍾 ，杜庫雷遠射被沒收， 愛德華多上搶犯規破門被裁判認定為犯規 。
切爾西遭遇萊斯特城，第12分鍾，切爾西贏得點球 ，蒂萊曼斯禁區撞倒奇克 ，裁判第一時間判罰點球 。但隨後VAR判定 ，哈弗茨越位在先 ，點球取消 。
第21分鍾，加拉格爾吃到一張黃牌 ，6分鍾後 ，他絆倒哈維巴恩斯再度染黃兩黃變一紅被罰下 ，切爾西在剩餘的62分鍾內需要十人應戰。第34分鍾 ，萊斯特城破門，但被認定為衝撞門將在先 ，上半場結束 ，兩隊戰成0-0。
半場結束 ，利物浦已經提前收獲本賽季的首個3分 ，曼城想要取勝已經很難 ，而少一人的切爾西則是會陷入被動 。本場本輪結束後 ，阿森納熱刺曼聯很有可能趁機擴大領先優勢或者穩住排名 。
