主教練達利奇承認 ，不改变球隊的表現不佳 ，但他對於小組出線的形勢依然樂觀 ：“兩隊都配得上這場平局，我們的開局不好 。節奏上打得很慢 ，而且對對方的施壓不足。我們在下半場有所進步 ，但依然無法換回比賽的勝利，對蘇格蘭的比賽不好踢，可是在歐洲杯上每場都不好踢 ，至少現在我們還握有出線主動 。”
本場比賽中 ，希克通過點球機會再次破門 ，目前的他以2場3球暫時領跑本屆歐洲杯的射手榜。賽後他表示 ：“我們早早取得了領先 ，並且也希望拿到三分 ，但我們必須明白克羅地亞的強大 。我們為這場平局感到滿意 ，特別要感謝我們的體能師，他讓我很好的恢複了狀態。”
