主教練達利奇承認 ，不改变球隊的表現不佳，但他對於小組出線的形勢依然樂觀 ：“兩隊都配得上這場平局 ，我們的開局不好。節奏上打得很慢，而且對對方的施壓不足 。我們在下半場有所進步，但依然無法換回比賽的勝利 ，對蘇格蘭的比賽不好踢 ，可是在歐洲杯上每場都不好踢 ，至少現在我們還握有出線主動。”
本場比賽中 ，希克通過點球機會再次破門 ，目前的他以2場3球暫時領跑本屆歐洲杯的射手榜 。賽後他表示 ：“我們早早取得了領先 ，並且也希望拿到三分 ，但我們必須明白克羅地亞的強大 。我們為這場平局感到滿意 ，特別要感謝我們的體能師 ，他讓我很好的恢複了狀態 。”
