北京時間4月20日 ，沪媒上海媒體《東方體育日報》撰文分析了此前的广州兩場亞冠比賽 。在亞冠小組賽前兩輪比賽中 ，队球廣州隊和泰山隊都遭遇了大比分失利 ，员心而廣州隊球員關浩津更是态已踢完因為犯規染紅後被球隊開除 。《東方體育日報》表示 ，经崩雖然關浩津已經被廣州隊開除 ，只想早日但由於航班等原因 ，比赛他無法提前回國 ，沪媒依舊跟隨球隊一起訓練 ，广州但他的队球心情備受煎熬 ，精神壓力不小。员心而且不止關浩津 ，态已踢完其他球員也是经崩處於極度煎熬的狀態 。
由於疫情原因 ，只想早日中超球隊已經連續兩年派出年輕小將參加亞冠 ，但是讓小將與其他亞洲強隊去比賽 ，輸球完全是意料之中的事。《東方體育日報》表示，由於遭遇連續慘敗，這些年輕球員在心理上已經接近崩潰 ，他們隻想能夠早日踢完比賽 ，早日回家 。另外 ，由於比賽是空場進行 ，因此雙方教練的指揮聲音在轉播時都可以被聽到 。《東方體育日報》披露稱 ，在比賽中，廣州隊大比分落後 ，場麵也極其被動 ，此時替補席上有一位助理教練站起來 ，來到場邊大聲對場內的球員大喊，但喊話的內容卻帶了不少髒字 ，甚至是國罵 ，讓球員們倍感難堪 。有球員透露 ，大比分輸球已經讓他們背負了巨大的心理壓力 ，這位教練的謾罵更讓他們不堪忍受 ，精神受虐 。
《東方體育日報》直言 ，目前球員們已經身心俱疲 ，隻想比賽快點結束 ，對於後麵的比賽 ，球員們也已經做好了繼續被對手製造“慘案”的心理準備 。
