沙迦當地時間9月19日晚8點，张玉战胜足經過兩天的宁非休整之後 ，國足再次前往沙迦俱樂部訓練場進行訓練 ，信心下场國足的越南年輕前鋒張玉寧接受了媒體的采訪 。
對於近期的将展訓練安排，張玉寧表示 ：“短暫的示国实实休整之後 ，我們會為接下來的张玉战胜足兩場比賽做一些體能的儲備 ，也會上一些強度 。宁非就當是信心下场一個小的準備期吧 。”
談到長期的越南海外封閉 ，張玉寧表示 ：“這對於我們是将展一種挑戰，對於記者老師來說 ，示国实实也是张玉战胜足一樣 ，大家都是宁非為了一個堅定的目標和目的 ，我們可以扛下來 ，信心下场這是我們的職業，作為職業球員 ，我們可以做到這一點，同時也是代表我們的國家 。我相信有之前的40強賽的經驗和聯賽的長期封閉，大家都能夠適應 ，平時我們也會在一起聊天 ，喝茶 ，看看球賽 。”
對於10月7日與越南隊的比賽，張玉寧表示 ：“這段時間我們對於中前場 ，包括後場 ，針對越南隊的特點都有部署 ，我非常有信心能夠拿下對手，我們也可以踢出非常精彩的比賽 。”
談到鋒線的競爭 ，張玉寧表示 ：“做好分內的事情 ，根據自己的特點 ，每一分鍾不遺餘力的奔跑 ，去幫助球隊 ，把握每一次機會 。”
這樣是張玉寧第二次出戰12強賽的比賽，對此張玉寧表示 ：“能夠近距離接觸高水平的強隊 ，感受到快節奏的對抗，對自己的成長有幫助 ，下一場比賽是展現球隊真實實力的機會 ，前兩個對手確實實力比較強 。”
此前的萬州四國賽 ，中國國奧隊也曾經輸給過越南隊，當時張玉寧也是場上的一員。越南媒體最近也談及這場比賽 ，認為此次將是越南隊戰勝中國隊的好機會 。對此張玉寧表示：“那一次我們輸掉了比賽 ，但這一次是我們戰勝他們的好機會 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
