2021賽季中超聯賽第22輪 ，也就是龙泪全季最後一輪角逐將於1月3日 、4日分別在蘇州 、洒赛廣州賽區進行 。前新在3日下午同時開球的现场保級組4場比賽中 ，暫列積分榜倒數第3位的队遇到太多重慶兩江競技隊將與已經提前保級成功的武漢隊再度相遇 。如果輸球或戰平對手 ，困难這支球隊有可能被迫參加後麵的张外支球中超、中甲升降級附加賽 。龙泪2日下午 ，洒赛兩江競技隊韓國籍主帥張外龍淚灑新聞發布會現場 。前新
張外龍首先介紹了球隊的现场備戰情況。他表示：“大家新年好。队遇到太多到了這賽季的困难最後一場，也是张外支球新的一年的開始 。”就在此時，張外龍突然哽咽 ，隨後落淚 。他接著又說：“2021年這支球隊走過來遇到了太多的困難 ，希望最後一場成為我們最精彩的比賽 。”
兩江競技隊球員楊帥表示 ：“借這個機會對球員說聲感謝 ，也要感謝重慶方麵的領導 ，是他們的承諾和堅持 ，我們才會留到今天，我們會拚命贏下明天的比賽，留在中超 。”
