北京時間6月8日 ，據《鏡報》報道 ，赴巴利物浦中場維納爾杜姆已經拒絕了巴薩的黎两邀約 ，即將投身巴黎聖日耳曼，原因甚至有媒體聲稱合同已簽 。钱第導致維納爾杜姆放棄巴薩轉投巴黎的杜牧第个当原因有二 ，首當其衝的赴巴當然是因為錢 ，第二個原因則是黎两波切蒂諾 。
如果不是原因因為薪水問題 ，事實上維納爾杜姆也並不需要離開利物浦 ，钱第紅軍為了薪資結構 ，杜牧第个当為他開出的赴巴新合同與球員本人心目中的期望值相差甚遠 ，也因此和平分手 。黎两在拜仁與巴薩的原因所謂爭奪戰中 ，巴薩取得了勝利 ，钱第然而巴黎橫插一腳，完美的將巴薩踢到了一邊 。
據稱，巴黎為維納爾杜姆開出了一份肥厚得幾乎無法拒絕的合同。考慮到他30歲的年齡 ，巴黎給出了稅後超過860萬鎊的年薪 ，並且是一份為期三年的合同 。
