《每日體育報》稱 ，皇馬和維尼修斯的續約談判已經陷入僵局 ，這位巴西小將認為自己應該拿到和姆巴佩接近的薪水 。這讓原本認為續約談判會很順利的皇馬高層不再感到輕鬆 。消息稱 ，在皇馬給姆巴佩開出的合同曝光之後 ，俱樂部與維尼修斯的談判就陷入了僵局。姆巴佩簽約皇馬後會拿到6000萬歐元至8000萬歐元的簽字費 ，而他的年薪將達到稅後3000萬歐元 ，這和維尼修斯目前拿到的報價完全不在一個水平 。
維尼修斯目前的年薪隻有320萬歐元 ，他也是皇馬陣中薪水最低的球員之一 。皇馬方麵願意為維尼修斯年薪翻3倍多 ，送出1000萬歐年薪的合約 ，但維尼修斯認為自己是這支皇馬的核心球員之一 ，因此銀河戰艦應該為自己開出接近姆巴佩的薪水 。由於維尼修斯的合同到2024年夏天才到期 ，因此這並不是續約的緊急時刻 ，但如果今年夏天之前雙方依然無法達成一致 ，那麽維尼修斯可能會成為皇馬的麻煩 。
