當地時間本周三 ，曝拉西班牙《足球先生》曝出了一則讓人哭笑不得的塔正消息 ：巴薩主席拉波爾塔仍然在尋求引進前鋒 ，而紅藍軍團正在嚴肅地研究 ，研究在明年夏天從馬競簽回蘇亞雷斯的苏亚可能性 。
巴薩本賽季在失去梅西後成績一落千丈 ，鼎力剛剛結束的赞成歐冠小組賽 ，巴薩在末輪客場0-3不敵拜仁 ，曝拉被本菲卡搶走晉級名額 ，塔正隻能去踢歐聯附加賽。研究而在西甲中，苏亚巴薩目前16輪比賽過後 ，鼎力少賽一場積23分 ，赞成排名第7，曝拉距離榜首的塔正皇馬有16分之多的差距 。

蘇亞雷斯與馬競的合同簽到了2022年6月 ，因此巴薩如果想明夏簽下他 ，並不需要支付任何轉會費用 。而此前媒體披露的卡瓦尼，則被哈維堅定地拒絕。雖然烏拉圭人想要離開曼聯，並且有興趣再闖蕩一下西甲，但哈維寧可去在蘇亞雷斯身上賭一把 ，因為他並不需要適應巴薩 ，也不需要紅藍軍團有任何的轉會開銷 。
蘇亞雷斯在2020年夏天被時任主席巴托梅烏趕走，並與剛上任的新帥科曼交惡 ，可以說在當時看來，烏拉圭人與巴薩的緣分已盡 。然而如今 ，巴托梅烏下台 ，科曼也被巴薩解雇，加之拉波爾塔的回歸和哈維的入主 ，這一切又讓蘇亞雷斯的回歸看上去變得可行起來 。並且在哈維看來 ，他是簽回蘇亞雷斯的絕對支持者 。
