北京時間10月2日，《北京青年報》消息 ，亚入亚洲在足球層麵產生“脫亞入歐”念想的球队亞洲球隊不止日本隊一支 ，卡塔爾也求之不得 。不止據日本媒體報道 ，日本日本足協為配合日本隊備戰2026年世界杯 ，卡塔有意推動日本隊參加由歐足聯舉辦的尔求歐國聯賽事 。
日本隊作為亞洲足壇的想脱佼佼者，希望在下一個世界杯備戰周期獲得全方位的亚入亚洲水平提升 ，而由於日本隊絕大多數國腳 ，球队特別是不止主力國腳均效力於歐洲俱樂部 ，日本隊近年來的日本訓練營也大多安排在歐洲 ，因此日本足協希望日本隊可以在歐洲設立固定的卡塔訓練營，並盡可能多地與歐洲球隊交手 ，尔求從而提升備戰與熱身質量 。想脱
盡管日本足協 、日本隊官方目前仍未對此傳聞做出公開回應。但在包括日本媒體 、國際足球界在內的各方來看 ，這樣的傳聞決非空穴來風。在剛剛於9月下旬結束的最近一段國際比賽日周期內 ，日本隊的主場已經由日本本土轉移到歐洲 。
據了解，最近兩年 ，卡塔爾隊持續在歐洲拉練熱身 。去年3月 ，他們就曾在匈牙利德布勒森參加歐洲杯預選賽“主場”與盧森堡隊 、阿塞拜疆隊的比賽 。在此之後 ，卡塔爾隊又受邀參加了中北美及加勒比地區金杯賽 ，並一路殺入半決賽 。今年內，除與意大利佛羅倫薩俱樂部隊 、摩洛哥隊 、加納隊的比賽安排在卡塔爾境內進行外 ，卡塔爾隊餘下國際A級比賽均安排在歐洲進行。這樣看來 ，如果有機會參加諸如歐國聯 、歐洲杯這樣的比賽機會 ，相信卡塔爾隊求之不得 。
值得注意的是 ，無論日本隊 ，還是卡塔爾隊 ，他們作為前亞洲杯冠軍得主 ，都是公認的亞洲最強球隊。在選擇優質熱身對手方麵 ，他們的底氣更足 ，相對來說 ，也更受歐洲 、美洲強隊的歡迎 。類似這樣的球隊萌生“脫亞入歐”想法既符合自身發展需要 ，亦是國際足壇時勢所致 。而令廣大中國球迷無比揪心的是，中國隊受不可抗力客觀因素影響，自今年3月結束卡塔爾世預賽征程後至今沒有安排集訓 ，熱身更無從談起 。從備戰角度來說 ，中國隊與參加新一屆亞洲杯賽的諸強差距已經被拉開 。
