作為中國隊在卡塔爾世預賽亞洲區40強賽後半程賽事的国足关岛首個對手，關島隊於北京時間5月23日飛抵上海浦東機場 。首个属训在接受並通過必要的对手队抵身體檢測及醫學隔離觀察後，全隊將於24日由上海赴蘇州 ，沪中進駐40強賽A組防疫紅區 。其安
關島隊一行於5月20日從關島出發 ，排专先行飛抵美國舊金山，练场在那裏與在美國效力的国足关岛多名隊員匯合後 ，再由美國舊金山飛赴上海。首个属训
按照最初賽曆 ，对手队抵關島隊與中國隊計劃於6月11日進行 ，沪中但中國足協經與關島足協 、其安亞足聯溝通後 ，排专決定將比賽提前至5月30日進行 。练场關島隊方麵也提出 ，国足关岛球隊希望在比賽前一周來華備戰 ，以適應賽地的天氣以及場地情況 。
關島隊提此要求還有一個原因 ，那就是關島境內就隻有國家訓練中心內的一片人工草場 ，沒有天然草場 ，所以他們希望能在更好的條件下備戰 。中國足協最終同意了對方的請求 。
按照規定，關島隊由上海浦東國際機場入境後 ，需嚴格執行各項防疫規定 ，必須在機場接受身體檢測，隨後集體前往指定隔離地點接受必要的醫學隔離觀察 。
待到通過各項身體檢測後 ，關島隊將從防疫隔離地點出發 ，並被直接送往蘇州賽區，進駐賽區防疫紅區 。
據悉 ，蘇州賽區已為關島隊在駐地酒店安排了一座獨立樓宇，同時為該隊預留出一塊優質專屬訓練場 。
