就在中國女足新帥選聘工作即將進入“候選人麵試”階段的印度亚洲時候 ，亞足聯女子足球委員會於10月14日在吉隆坡舉行了本年度第3次工作會議。女足年月會上 ，杯明亞足聯女子足球委員會主席馬福紮·阿克特·基爾隆（Mahfuza Akhter Kiron）透露，正常中国足主即將於明年1月20日至2月6日舉辦的举办新一屆女足亞洲杯賽比賽地目前沒有變化 ，仍為印度 。队女定
鑒於原定於2020年舉辦的帅仍國際足聯U20女足世界杯 、U17女足世界杯受疫情影響被取消 ，未确亞足聯決定 ，印度亚洲將代表亞洲參加2022年U20女足世界杯 、女足年月U17女足世界杯賽的杯明名額分別分配給獲得2019年亞足聯U19女足錦標賽 、2019年亞足聯U16女足錦標賽的正常中国足主前3名球隊或東道主球隊 。
在此次亞足聯女子足球委員會工作會議上 ，举办委員會主席基爾隆首先祝賀印度尼西亞女足 、队女定伊朗女足、帅仍韓國女足、菲律賓女足 、泰國女足 、越南女足在9月國際比賽日期間取得新一屆女足亞洲杯正賽入場券 ，她們將與日本隊 、澳大利亞隊 、中國隊、東道主印度隊一同參加於明年1月20日至2月6日舉行的女足亞洲杯決賽階段賽事 。
亞足聯同時表達了對烏茲別克斯坦 、塔吉克斯坦 、巴勒斯坦積極承辦女足亞洲杯預選賽賽會製比賽的感謝 。據了解 ，本屆女足亞洲杯最後兩張入場券將分別在巴林 、吉爾吉斯斯坦舉行的預選賽A組 、D組比賽中產生 。
各會員協會最關心的問題其實還是本屆女足亞洲杯的舉辦地安排問題 。在此之前，印度已經獲得本屆賽事的承辦權 。但鑒於國際疫情持續流行 ，且印度此前的疫情情況也比較嚴重 ，部分會員協會受疫情影響已提前退賽。在這種情況下，賽事能否在印度舉辦 ？賽事能否如期舉辦 ，都值得關注 。不過從亞足聯女子足球委員會本次會議上的表態來看 ，他們並沒有改變原計劃的打算。該委員會強調，他們對東道主印度舉辦一屆令人難忘比賽的能力充滿信心 。
不過 ，對於本屆賽事的各項籌備工作的細節 ，亞足聯女子足球委員會並沒有作具體說明。而亞足聯方麵也表示 ，他們已經成立了工作組應對可能出現的各類極端情況 。
會議還決定，將代表亞洲參加2022年U20女足世界杯 、U17女足世界杯賽的名額分別分配給獲得2019年亞足聯U19女足錦標賽、2019年亞足聯U16女足錦標賽的前3名球隊。這意味著獲得2019年亞足聯U19女足錦標賽前3名的日本隊 、朝鮮隊、韓國隊將參加於2022年8月10日至28日在哥斯達黎加舉行的U20女足世界杯；獲得2019年亞足聯U16女足錦標賽前前兩名日本隊 、朝鮮隊以及東道主印度隊參加於2022年10月11日至30日在印度舉行的U17女足世界杯 。
