4月23日消息，选世近日國際足球曆史統計聯合會（IFFHS）評選出了20世紀（1901-2000）女足最佳陣容 ，纪女佳阵中國選手僅劉愛玲一人入選 。足最
作為前中國女足主力球員 ，容中入选劉愛玲曾代表國家隊出戰140多場 ，国球是员刘女足國家隊出場最多的成員之一 。在劉愛玲時期，爱玲中國女足先後拿下1996年亞特蘭大第二十六屆奧運會亞軍 、选世1999年第三屆世界杯女足賽亞軍等多次為國家贏得榮譽 。纪女佳阵
2000年的足最悉尼奧運會，劉愛玲和中國女足的容中入选姑娘們以第五名的成績铩羽而歸 。她想到了結束17年的国球足球生涯 ，但她不甘心掛靴離去。员刘2001——2002年 ，爱玲她接到美國女足大聯盟的选世邀請 ，以一萬美元的轉會價格前往大洋彼岸的費城衝鋒隊效力 。劉愛玲在聚集了世界眾多頂尖高手的美國女足大聯盟中不僅很快站穩了腳跟，並且打進12粒球，3次被評為“大聯盟周最佳運動員” 。2002年12月，即將年滿36歲的劉愛玲對外正式宣布退役 ，結束了自己長達15年的足球生涯 。
