在這名教練被曝光後 ，名男調查人員在10月27日搜查了他的公寓，以及他在俱樂部的儲物櫃。在搜查中，調查人員發現了一部手機 ，手機裏記錄了7名男孩被強奸的影像。這些影像 ，是搜查幾天前剛剛錄製的 ，錄製地點就在這名教練員的公寓中 。據悉這名教練對受害者使用了藥物 ，受害者的身份還沒有被確認 。
12月9日 ，當地警方正式逮捕並拘留了這名青訓教練 。韋恩威斯巴登俱樂部對《圖片報》記者證實確有此事 ，並透露這名教練平時性格內斂話很少 ，在俱樂部內部顯得非常不起眼 。
