北京時間4月13日 ，在東京奧運會亞洲區預選賽附加賽次回合的中国比賽當中 ，中國女足坐鎮主場2比2戰平韓國女足 ，球项從而以兩回合總比分4比3淘汰對手拿到了最後一張奧運會的目皆參賽門票 ，至此中國女子三大球項目女足 、奥运女籃和女排均晉級到東京奧運會的让男正賽 。而相比之下男足和男排早已無緣本屆奧運會 ，队情男籃也僅僅存在著理論上的何堪可能，這樣的捷报晋级結果著實讓男隊的球員們情何以堪啊。
帶著首回合2比1領先的中国結果 ，回到主場的球项中國女足可以說對於這張奧運會參賽門票是誌在必得，而現場球迷也為鏗鏘玫瑰營造出了非常好的目皆主場氛圍 ，但率先取得進球的奥运卻是來訪的韓國女足 ，張馨在後點隻看球不看人的让男防守讓薑綵林率先打破僵局，而不久之後利用定位球機會韓國女足又再下一城 ，队情這一次同樣埋伏在禁區後點的薑綵林更是被徹底放空 。半場兩球落後讓天平一下子就倒向了對方這邊 ，好在下半場王霜幫助中國女足將總比分扳平，而進入加時賽又是王霜的挺身而出打入了決定勝負的進球，中國女足也以此拿到了最後一張東京奧運會女足正賽的參賽門票 。
至此中國女足 、中國女籃以及中國女排也就全部獲得了東京奧運會的參賽資格 ，早在去年2月中國女籃在貝爾格萊德進行的奧運會資格賽中在64比62戰勝了歐洲冠軍西班牙女籃之後以小組賽兩戰全勝的成績提前晉級奧運會 ，而中國女排拿到東京奧運會參賽資格的時間則要更早，主場作戰的她們在2019年8月進行的資格賽當中在3比0戰勝土耳其女排之後以小組賽三戰全勝的戰績鎖定小組頭名從而獲得了參加東京奧運會的資格，值得一提的是東京奧運會作為衛冕冠軍的中國女排將再次向著奧運會金牌發起衝擊 。
而相比於女子三大球的齊頭並進 ，我們的男隊表現就要相形見絀了 。在去年年初進行的奧運會男足預選賽當中 ，中國國奧隊在0比2輸給烏茲別克斯坦隊之後提前宣告出局 。而我們的中國男排則在奧運會亞洲區資格賽當中0比3不敵伊朗隊之後再次無緣奧運 。目前男子三大球項目也隻有男籃還有機會 ，不過平心而論那也僅僅是存在於理論上的可能，由於沒能通過男籃世界杯獲得直通資格，為此中國男籃隻能去參加落選賽 ，而總共24支參賽球隊將去爭奪僅剩的四個名額 ，由於其中包含有多支歐美強隊 ，所以男籃的出線前景從一開始就不被外界看好。（鮑文龍）
