北京時間4月8日 ，在成功和曼城續約至2025年後 ，劳内比利時中場巨星德布勞內發言 ，续约表達了自己對於藍月亮的不难忠誠於愛慕 。
在曼城官網的城帮訪談中 ，德布勞內談到 ：“選擇續約對於我而言並不是助成困難的事情 ，我感覺自己真的为现很幸運 。在我來到曼城的德布時候 ，這支球隊的劳内陣容就已經非常不錯了 ，這麽多年過去了 ，续约出現了很多球員更替 ，不难但我依然留在了這裏 ，城帮這是助成一件很不錯的事情 。”
“我們一起贏得了很多獎杯 ，为现球隊真的德布很棒 。我們所采用的打法也給了我更多的動力 ，這是我想要的前進方式 ，所以說續約對於我而言並不是什麽難以抉擇的事情 。”
談到瓜迪奧拉帶來的有益影響，德布勞內說道：“這的確對我很又幫助 。主要的原因在於感受 ，我對這個俱樂部還有這支球隊的感受。是整個團隊幫助我達到了現在的水平 。”
“一直以來 ，和這些球員競爭場上位置並不容易 ，因為我的隊友們都是十分出色的球員。當然他們也都給予了我很多的幫助 ，讓我能夠有最好的表現 。”
