據悉 ，津媒加速交替中國隊昨天的最后出場陣容以老帶新，有知情者分析，两轮力争昨天參加比賽的强赛隊員 ，未來兩場12強賽受重用的国足可能性更大 ，而且“95後”隊員的新老小组表現也確實令教練組滿意 。3月7日中國隊同長春亞泰隊進行了第一場教學賽 ，避免兩隊戰成1 ：1 ，廖力生為中國隊打入一球 。第二場教學賽12日進行 ，中國隊5 ：0大勝長春亞泰隊 。中國隊在三場教學賽中嚐試三中衛（五後衛）打法 ，戰術上仍延續“攻守平衡 ，快速反擊”思路 。
中國隊此次西行，主教練李霄鵬放棄了身在巴西的入籍隊員 ，也沒有征召在西甲效力的武磊，利用12強賽最後兩輪比賽 ，加速中國隊新老交替的意圖非常明顯 。中國隊首要任務是在最後兩場比賽中盡最大努力表現出應有的競爭力，還有就是力爭避免小組墊底 。日前 ，亞足聯確定了中沙之戰的主裁判，由來自阿聯酋的哈桑執法 。中國隊客場挑戰阿曼隊的最後一場比賽 ，主裁判是來自韓國的高亨進 。
