北京時間4月19日淩晨，歐洲足壇一個重磅消息出爐 ，记者救命12支歐洲頂級豪門宣布成立歐洲超級聯賽 ，欧超而這項賽事將會由俱樂部自己進行管理 ，对国每周的米说迷支周中進行 。起始的钱希12支球隊分別是AC米蘭 、阿森納 、望球馬競 、体坛切爾西 、记者救命巴薩 、欧超國米 、对国尤文、米说迷支利物浦 、钱希曼城 、望球曼聯、体坛皇馬和熱刺 ，預計在初始賽季開始前還會有另外3家俱樂部加入 。
由於蘇寧集團遭遇了嚴重的財政危機，國米此前的前景也一度讓人非常揪心 ，不乏有蘇寧將要出售國米股份的消息傳出 。在歐超聯賽成立的當下，《體壇周報》記者王勤伯也從國米的角度予以了解讀。
王勤伯在社交媒體上寫道 ：“歐超最後如果搞不成 ，受害最大會是國際米蘭 。張康陽在路線上緊隨阿涅利 ，很大原因是尤文承諾這個歐超原始股 。對國際米蘭來說 ，如果不賣 ，歐超簡直就是救命錢。歐超搞不成 ，尤文還能混 ，國際米蘭會更大困境 ，屆時張康陽或許該反思下緊跟尤文老板是不是失算了 。國米球迷請支持歐超 ！”
