北京時間6月20日 ，據《鏡報》報道 ，冠军瓦拉內的铁卫經紀人已經準備好與曼聯談判了 ，28歲的加盟局经纪人法國中衛今夏轉投老特拉福德的概率被無限拉大 。
英國媒體消息稱 ，曼联瓦拉內的成定經紀人希望能夠在本周與曼聯會麵 ，努力將他旗下的本周球員運作到老特拉福德去 。
瓦拉內與皇馬的法国合同還有12個月的時間 ，他此前已經拒絕了伯納烏關於續約兩年的冠军一份提案 ，這意味著他會有很多其他的铁卫選擇 ，而曼聯就是加盟局经纪人其中最為主要的一個。
28歲的曼联法國國腳對於皇馬的一些做法感到不滿 ，伯納烏此前先後與莫德裏奇 、成定巴斯克斯還有拉莫斯（已離隊）商討續約問題 ，本周而將瓦拉內置於他們之後 ，法国這使得瓦拉內有了不受重視的感覺 ，並最終可能會選擇離開 。
皇馬方麵也希望能夠將這位世界杯冠軍與多個歐冠冠軍球員出售 ，用以換取5000萬鎊左右的現金，這筆錢能夠成為他們收購姆巴佩或是哈蘭德中的一部分。
巴黎聖日耳曼據傳也對瓦拉內非常感興趣 ，但是球員本人更加傾向於加盟英超 ，他可能能在那裏獲得一份為期四年的新合同 。
如果接連失去拉莫斯與瓦拉內 ，皇馬也並非無計可施 ，他們已經從拜仁那裏免簽來了阿拉巴 ，奧地利人將與米利唐 、納喬 、巴列霍共組中路防線 。
