韓喬生寫道：“12強賽國足最後一場對阿曼 ，个脚全場零射正，韩乔最終客場0-2交槍 。生总赛推1勝3平6負 ，结国以如此難堪的足强则步成績結束12強賽 ，真的倒重讓人心寒 ，令人痛心 。吧遵12強賽開戰前 ，循规相信絕大多數人都想不到是這樣的結果。中國男足淪落到今天這樣的境地，絕非偶然 ，必須承認 ，我們的路子走錯啦。幾年前有人說：世界杯決賽圈如果擴充到48個隊的話 ，中國隊會有希望 ，現在看別說48個隊啦，就是64個隊中國隊也沒有希望 。心痛啊……”
