據《FTV足球頻道》報道 ，张修州队嚴鼎皓 、维吴張修維 、少聪赛季吳少聰等球員 ，员新有望有望在新賽季仍繼續為廣州隊效力。留广
2月16日 ，曝严廣州足球俱樂部發布《足球俱樂部球員定編及薪資標準》，鼎皓等球新賽季的张修州队俱樂部運營預算隻有1500萬人民幣 ，封頂最高年薪為稅前60萬元人民幣,维吴而且隻限3個頂薪名額 。
粵媒透露 ，少聪赛季球隊執行教練兼隊長鄭智的员新有望下家已經找好了，有消息稱他的留广下家基本確定為深足 。包括其中包括鄧涵文 、曝严劉殿座 、高準翼 、何超在內的“絕大多數”廣州隊球員都已經進入武漢三鎮 ，開始隨隊訓練 。
廣州隊其他國腳基本上分入海港和泰山兩支爭冠強隊 ，其中包括蔣光太 、艾克森 、廖力生 ，有2位國腳還未被揭露姓名 。據悉 ，艾克森 、蔣光太和另外兩名廣州隊國腳已被海港“盯上”；廖力生則已經確認將加盟山東泰山隊 。
而在俱樂部隻能開出一年60萬頂薪情況下 ，作為球隊的2大主力嚴鼎皓和張修維 ，以及未來後防核心吳少聰等一眾青年才俊選擇了堅守 。他們勢必將成為恒大新賽季的絕對主力 、中軸核心。
