北京時間8月14日 ，官方英超豪門曼聯宣布，瓦拉瓦拉內正式加盟球隊 ，内正年雙方簽約至2025年 。式加據悉 ，联双球員的约至轉會費為3400萬英鎊外加浮動條款 ，這筆款項將在未來數年內支付 。官方根據此前媒體的瓦拉報道，瓦拉內的内正年年薪為1200萬歐元 。
瓦拉內年少成名，式加在17歲的联双時候就在法甲出場 ，2011年的约至夏天 ，18歲的官方瓦拉內在齊達內的勸說下加盟了皇馬 ，開啟了戰艦生涯。瓦拉在皇馬效力的内正年10個賽季中 ，瓦拉內一共為皇馬出場359場 ，打進17球外加7個助攻 。隨隊獲得4座歐冠冠軍 ，3座西甲冠軍。
今年的夏天 ，瓦拉內與皇馬的續約協議一直未能談攏 ，而曼聯則看中了這個機會 ，向皇馬求購瓦拉內 。在7月28日 ，曼聯在官網宣布，球隊與皇馬達成協議，將會引進法國人瓦拉內。但是在經過體檢後，簽約才會完成 。
北京時間8月12日，瓦拉內完成了體檢 ，隨後曼聯也在官網正式宣布與瓦拉內簽約。按照計劃 ，曼聯需要在周五前完成對瓦拉內的注冊 ，而一旦注冊成功 ，在本周末曼聯與利茲聯的比賽中 ，瓦拉內就有出場的可能 。
根據媒體的報道 ，為了得到瓦拉內 ，曼聯會支付給皇馬3400萬英鎊 ，另外還有相關浮動條款，同時會給瓦拉內提供一份年薪1200萬歐元的合同 。據悉，瓦拉內會與曼聯簽約四個賽季 ，在2025年合同到期後 ，曼聯還有延長一年合同的優先權 。
