而在李勇鴻成為米蘭主席的短短一年間 ，米蘭的體育總監是米拉貝利 。他近日在接受采訪時爆料稱 ，當時紅黑軍曾經可能簽下C羅，而由於李勇鴻的拒絕，這筆交易未能成功：“C羅加盟的問題 ？我與門德斯有過會談 ，我們知道C羅與皇馬之間有些問題。我做了我可能做的一切 ，但是後來中國老板阻止了這一切的發生，因為李勇鴻認為這樣的交易是無法承受的 。如果是米蘭現在的老板掌權 ，我認為C羅現在就是一名米蘭球員 。”
需要指出的是 ，此前李勇鴻在接受采訪時也曾經談起了簽約C羅的問題：“我們考慮過很多球員 ，但我不想去談論細節，很顯然C羅是一名世界級的球星 ，任何主教練都想要擁有他，而當時我的目標就是想讓米蘭擁有最好的 ，無論是球員還是管理團隊 。”從米拉貝利與李勇鴻接受采訪時的言論看，雙方的言論有巨大的分歧 。
