法國《隊報》指出，拉波爾特之所以如今選擇入籍西班牙 ，是直接源於對於德尚的心灰意冷。在拉波爾特看來 ，自己遭到了德尚的不公正對待 。在德尚下課前，自己沒機會為法國隊出場 。球員的黃金期轉瞬即逝 ，拉波爾特希望能盡快踢上國際大賽 。今年夏天和明年冬天，拉波爾特將會為西班牙出戰歐洲杯和世界杯。
