北京時間6月2日 ，狼堡德甲沃爾夫斯堡官宣 ，官宣冠44歲的范博前荷蘭國腳範博梅爾正式成為狼堡新任主帥 ，雙方簽訂了一份為期兩年的接任季欧合同 ，直到2023年6月 。主帅征战
範博梅爾曾在2006/11賽季為拜仁效力 ，下赛在拜仁的狼堡123場德甲比賽中攻入11球，幫助拜仁奪取了德甲和德國杯冠軍 ，官宣冠效力拜仁期間 ，范博他以強悍的接任季欧踢球風格而聞名 ，此外 ，主帅征战範博梅爾還效力於巴薩 、下赛AC米蘭和埃因霍溫，狼堡他在埃因霍溫79場比賽中打入10球 ，官宣冠於2013年7月退役 。范博
