3月22日下午 ，李昂练求國足繼續在上海集訓 ，主教訓練開始前 ，非常近期剛剛由江蘇俱樂部轉會到上海海港俱樂部的严格中衛李昂接受了媒體采訪 。
對話開始後 ，训练李昂首先表達了對球迷及各界關注國足的期间球感謝。他說 ：“首先 ，加练很感謝各路媒體和球迷 ，任意這麽關心和關注我們 。李昂练求他們通過各種方式為我們打氣。主教我很感謝他們能在臨近比賽的非常階段給予我們信心和支持，這對我們而言是严格巨大鼓舞。”
對於接下來40強賽賽程的训练密集，李昂表示 ：“我們隊平時的期间球準備要非常緊張 ，不管生活還是加练訓練 ，都要提前進入比賽狀態 ，為之後的比賽打好基礎 。不管怎麽樣 ，大家每天都要認真訓練好，貫徹好教練的要求 ，在生活上保護好自己的身體 ，為比賽做好準備 。”
對於主帥李鐵向防線球員提出的要求 ，李昂回答說 ：“從第一期（集訓）開始 ，李導對我們的要求就非常嚴格 。中衛是個非常重要的位置 ，不管誰來踢 ，首先要明白這個位置的重要性 ，其次要做好對全場隊友的呼應 ，對大家的呼喊、提醒要更多一點 。彼此間能夠做到互相協作 ，這非常關鍵 。”
對於近期困擾國足的傷病問題，李昂說 ：“就像李導所說的 ，不管到什麽時候 ，對這些不確定因素都要做好多手準備 。不管是誰來踢比賽 ，我們都會有應對方案 ，這一點應該不會有太多問題 。”
對於即將於6月進行的40強賽最後4輪比賽 ，李昂充滿期待 。他說 ，“我覺得（打這樣的大賽）抖擻精神應該排在第一位 。其次 ，按教練要求全力以赴 。技戰術方麵即便不能發揮到最佳程度吧 ，起碼也應該要打出正常水平 。精神層麵上 ，應該體現出我們的拚搏精神 ，為國家奉獻的精神。”
對於隊內競爭及李鐵對“多麵手”的需求 ，李昂表示：“因場上瞬息萬變 ，每個人都要做好自己的準備 ，不管是進球還是防守，首先要做好自己 ，為球隊做貢獻。”李昂還透露，自己在國家隊集訓期間 ，也經常加練任意球。
對於如何平衡中超和國家隊備戰工作 ，李昂表示 ：“從我對自己要求來說 ，國家隊任務是更重一些 ，應該是首要任務 。可能聯賽打5場比賽後國家隊就要進行預選賽。中超聯賽對球員身體、狀態要求高。聯賽工作做得好，對國家隊打好世預賽肯定有很大幫助” 。
