下半場開場不到10分鍾 ，有铁武磊接應艾克森直塞 ，家军高速突入禁區 ，胜未松對方門將無奈之下將他撲倒，必轻點球 ！国足這是一次標準的武磊式突擊 。頂著巨大壓力，武磊用一個假動作騙過門將 ，穩穩將球罰進 ，盡顯大將之風 。
值得一提的是 ，上一場在蘇州對陣關島隊 ，當國足遲遲無法取得進球時 ，也是武磊製造點球 ，率先為球隊打破僵局 。至少亞洲範圍內 ，武磊的速度與靈巧稱得上是對手防線的噩夢。雖然在西班牙人隊淪為替補 ，但回到國家隊 ，他的作用還是無人可以取代 。兩個多賽季的留洋經曆 ，讓武磊的心理素質和關鍵時刻製造機會的能力都得到了不小的提升 。

即便如此 ，賽後武磊在接受記者采訪時 ，還是顯得非常謙虛 。“我上一場就說過 ，這支國家隊都是全中國的最好球員 ，不管是什麽比賽 ，主場還是客場 ，都是由我們每個人完成的 ，包括球員，包括工作人員 ，我們是一個集體 ，勝利和失利都是我們一起承擔 。”他表示 ，“相比進球來說 ，更重要的是我們的後防線做得非常好 ，確保沒有丟球 ，這是更值得驕傲的 。”
談到阿聯酋當地的氣溫 ，武磊並不在意 ：“炎熱的條件 、失去主場優勢等等 ，客觀上存在很多困難 。李指導一直和我們強調 ，這種情況下，贏得比賽就要靠意誌力 ，誰能跑 、誰能咬牙 ，誰就能獲勝 ，我們每個人都做足了準備 。”
連續兩場都率先進球 、打破僵局 ，真應了這句話 ：困境還得看武磊 。許多人心裏恐怕都明白，如果沒有武磊，中國隊想要贏下這兩場，還真未必輕鬆 ！
