這場平局也讓曼聯在過去的9個主場比賽中 ，都無法完成零封 。索帥則在賽後解釋了不讓C羅首發的原因 ，是希望他在經曆了上周中歐冠的比賽後給他一定的休息時間 。值得一提的是 ，這已經不是阿邦拉霍第一次批評索爾斯克亞了。
在之前曼聯0-1負於維拉之後。阿邦拉霍就表示索帥應該離開 。他說道 ：“曼聯現在需要讓索爾斯克亞離任 ，或者給他一個董事會的職位 ，然後去引進孔蒂或齊達內這樣的教練 ，他們會從這些球員中得到更好的結果 ，我認為索爾斯克亞在一些決策上已經偏離了目標 。”
