兩支球隊主帥也主席了發布會 ，帅还廣州FC主帥劉智宇談到賽前的立足布置，說到 ：“我們會按照原定布置 ，防守做好自己 ，广州港队從防守抓起 ，战泰爭取做到最好 。海报對手是青年非常有攻擊力的一支球隊 ，優點是军主他們的速度 ，腳下頻率包括傳切速度都比較快 。帅还（我們）首先還是立足立足於防守，通過防守建立信心；如果有機會 ，再去展現我們在小範圍以及傳切上的配合 。”
而對於廣州FC的年輕球員 ，泰港主帥沙拉武-德裏拳則表示 ：“這次廣州FC派出了許多年輕球員 ，但他們都很有競爭力 。我們要在比賽中利用自己的經驗，踢出自信 。”
