2016年歐洲杯 ，勒夫因為聞手指一炮而紅 ，被拍博格巴當時媒體拍到勒夫在場邊先是回啥还摸掏了掏褲襠 ，隨後又把掏褲襠的味儿闻手手放在了鼻子邊上聞了聞。對陣法國的指又之后比賽當中，有球迷拍到了勒夫同樣的聞手指的動作 。當這樣的動作在社交媒體上傳開之際 ，球迷們也是炸鍋了 。一位球迷就直截了當地問 ：“為什麽勒夫總是樂此不疲地聞手指 ？”另一位球迷則是直言不諱地講道 ：“勒夫嗅了半天就是沒嗅道進球 。”
