北京時間3月26日 ，杯球布中亞足聯官網公布了2022年印度女足亞洲杯的国女球場，為新孟買-DY帕蒂爾體育場 、足直正赛艾哈邁達巴德·TransStadia 、接进布巴內什瓦爾·卡林加體育場。女足2022年1月20至2月6日 ，亚洲這項亞洲頂級女足賽事將在這裏上演 。杯球布中
這是国女擴軍後的首屆女足亞洲杯 ，賽事抽簽儀式將於2021年5月27日線上進行 ，足直正赛預選賽將於9月13至25日以賽會製形式舉行 。接进
上屆賽事前三名日本隊 、女足澳大利亞隊和中國隊將自動獲得正賽參賽資格 。亚洲除東道主印度隊之外 ，杯球布中其餘隊伍將通過預選賽爭奪最後八個名額。
本屆賽事也將是2023年FIFA女足世界杯的預選賽 ，屆時亞洲最強的五支隊伍將攜手東道主澳大利亞隊共同代表亞洲出征女足世界杯 。
