7月16日下午 ，亚泰迎战亞泰將士乘球隊大巴進駐蘇州賽區 ，全队當天接受核酸檢測後開始隔離 ，进驻次日全隊將進行適應性訓練 ，苏州赛区首轮備戰重啟後的备战中超聯賽——7月19日20時30分，長春亞泰隊將與河北隊展開第6輪的复赛較量 。
從5月18日離開蘇州 ，河北到7月16日再進蘇州 ，亚泰迎战整整兩個月的全队間歇期讓亞泰將士對這裏既陌生又熟悉 ，陌生的进驻是三伏天的炎熱天氣 ，熟悉的苏州赛区首轮是沒有變化的對手 。為了提前適應蘇州賽區的备战炎熱天氣，長春亞泰7月8日在上海集結 ，复赛感受長三角地區的河北濕熱氣候。
根據蘇州賽區賽程 ，亚泰迎战長春亞泰第一階段剩餘9輪比賽將在7月19日至8月12日完成 ，每3天一場比賽 。另外 ，9場比賽中有3場比賽是在炎熱的下午4點半開球 ，3場比賽是傍晚6點半開球 ，還有3場比賽是晚上8點半開球 。蓄勢待發的亞泰將士將在高溫天氣和密集賽程中迎來巨大考驗 。
2021賽季中超聯賽第一階段前5輪 ，長春亞泰隊以2勝3平 、積9分的戰績暫列蘇州賽區第二名 。
