法國名宿羅滕近日在接受RMC Sports采訪時談到了自己曾效力過的巴黎聖日耳曼 ，他表示皇馬、名宿门嫉巴塞羅那、皇萨户尤文圖斯 、等豪妒巴当们曼聯 、法国利物浦等豪門討厭巴黎聖日耳曼完全是名宿门嫉出於嫉妒，因為巴黎聖日耳曼在快速成長的皇萨户過程中拉了仇恨 。
巴黎聖日耳曼財大氣粗，等豪妒巴当们激活2.2億歐元違約金直接從巴塞羅那引進內馬爾 ，法国隨後又在激烈的名宿门嫉爭奪戰中以驚人的1.8億歐元引進了姆巴佩 。“四億妄為”也成為了外界調侃巴黎聖日耳曼的皇萨户一大標簽 。在今夏的等豪妒巴当们轉會市場上 ，巴黎聖日耳曼成為了最大贏家 ，法国他們免簽引進了多納魯馬、名宿门嫉維納爾杜姆、皇萨户拉莫斯和梅西 ，又以高價引進了阿什拉夫等人。不過，巴黎聖日耳曼似乎並不受歐洲其它豪門待見，對此 ，法國名宿羅滕表達了自己的觀點 。
羅滕在接受RMC Sports采訪時說道：“其它歐洲俱樂部之所以討厭巴黎聖日耳曼 ，完全是因為嫉妒。從卡塔爾財團入主巴黎聖日耳曼開始 ，他們就從來沒有真正被視為是歐洲豪門 。即便如此 ，巴黎聖日耳曼還是在想方設法打造一支足夠與歐洲其它豪門相抗衡的球隊 。從最近幾次的歐足聯會議來看 ，巴黎聖日耳曼根本就沒有話語權 ，他們隻能抬頭仰望皇馬、巴塞羅那 、尤文圖斯 、曼聯 、利物浦……這些俱樂部向來都是把巴黎聖日耳曼當做暴發戶 。”
巴黎聖日耳曼花費重金打造球隊 ，他們的終極目標是問鼎歐洲之巔 ，贏得歐冠冠軍獎杯 。羅滕說道 ：“即便是巴黎聖日耳曼贏得歐冠冠軍 ，他們還是不會像100年前贏得了5次 、6次或者13次歐冠冠軍的球隊一樣受到別人的尊重和重視 。現在巴黎聖日耳曼已經將品牌推廣到了國際 ，這才是巴黎聖日耳曼的主要目的 。為了擴大國際影響力，你就必須去引進一些國際巨星，而巴黎聖日耳曼就是這樣做的 。現在隻有歐洲豪門球隊討厭巴黎聖日耳曼 ，那些小俱樂部並不討厭巴黎聖日耳曼 。”
