在抽簽儀式結束 ，大动國足主帥李鐵接受亞足聯采訪時 ，李铁力談到了國足備戰所遇到的久没困難 ，李鐵說道 ：“由於疫情原因 ，国外我們已經很久沒有在國內，踢高特別是质量在國外打過高質量的熱身賽 。”
對於未來比賽的热身期待，李鐵表示 ：“我們中國有非常多的球迷給我們巨大的支持 ，他們是我們在國家隊踢球時巨大的動力 。”
世預賽亞洲區第三階段的10個比賽日具體安排為 ：2021年9月2日、2021年9月7日 、2021年10月7日 、2021年10月12日 、2021年11月11日 、2021年11月16日 、2022年1月27日 、2022年2月1日 、2022 年3月24日和 2022 年 3 月 29 日 。
