北京時間3月27日 ，英格英格蘭足總發布公告稱 ，兰官拉什福德和薩卡因傷提前退出本期英格蘭隊 ，拉返他們不會出戰接下來英格蘭對陣阿爾巴尼亞和波蘭的什福伤退世預賽 。
盡管拉什福德和薩卡入選了本期英格蘭隊大名單，德萨但是卡因這兩名球員都是有傷在身，英格蘭在世預賽首輪5-0大勝聖馬力諾的出已比賽中 ，拉什福德和薩卡都沒有進入比賽大名單。俱乐
拉什福德向英格蘭隊報告了他的英格傷勢 ，經過進一步的兰官評估，他已經返回曼聯接受康複治療。拉返拉什福德是什福伤退在歐聯杯對陣AC米蘭的比賽中腳部受傷 ，因此錯過了上周日曼聯在足總杯四分之一決賽不敵萊斯特城的德萨比賽 。
薩卡在此前北倫敦德比戰中腿筋受傷 ，卡因盡管他在上周日對陣西漢姆聯的出已比賽中複出 ，但是傷勢並沒有完全康複 ，薩卡一直留在阿森納接受傷勢評估 ，現在已經確定他無法參加英格蘭對陣阿爾巴尼亞和波蘭的比賽 。
