北京時間3月18日消息 ，日本據日本媒體《ultra-soccer》報道，队主对日前日本足協公布了12強賽最後兩場比賽的征召球員大名單 ，不少球迷對這份名單產生質疑 ，进国家队也有球員在個人社交平台上發文疑似對主帥森保一表示不滿 ，日本不過在發布會上森保一卻表示不會因為有球員對我不滿，队主对以後就不征召他進國家隊。征召
日本媒體《ultra-soccer》報道稱 ，进国家队日本隊在本屆12強賽中開局並不好 ，日本不過在第四輪之後他們取得了一波5連勝 ，队主对目前排名小組第二名 ，征召本次集訓日本隊征召了27名球員 ，进国家队其中18人效力於海外聯賽。日本
如果日本隊在下場比賽中戰勝澳大利亞隊 ，队主对那麽他們將直接獲得出線資格 ，征召談到對陣澳大利亞的比賽時 ，森保一表示：“如你所知 ，澳大利亞隊也在為衝擊世界杯的門票做著努力 ，他們是一支力量型球隊 ，球員的身體都非常強壯，我們將在客場對陣澳大利亞 ，我認為這場比賽將會是一場非常艱難的戰鬥 ，首先我們要在比賽中展現出自信 ，以勝利為目標進行戰鬥。”
《ultra-soccer》文章表示日本隊在12強賽中一直是在“懸崖邊”進行的比賽，一部分原因是他們在本屆賽事的開局表現並不好 ，而這一次對陣澳大利亞的比賽依舊如此，如果不能全取三分，那麽形勢很可能會發生逆轉 。
談到球員的選擇，森保一說道 ：“有的球員我想征召也無法實現，因為傷病原因 ，但如果條件允許的話 ，我會召集更多的球員入選 。有的球員以進入國家隊為目標 ，也非常有實力 ，但我（選人）是為了贏得比賽 ，而且這場比賽也必須要取勝 。”
有記者提問：“有些球員在俱樂部取得了成績但是卻沒有被征召 ，另外也有球員在社交平台上發表了不滿的言論 。”麵對這個尖銳的問題 ，森保一說道 ：“我不知道哪些人在社交平台上發表了不當言論，就算有人說了什麽 ，那也不影響我征召球員 ，我不會因為有人發表了對我不滿的言論而不征召他 。我挑選大名單中的球員是為了贏下與澳大利亞和越南隊的比賽，可惜每次人選名額有限 ，我們在每個位置上都有好多名很好的球員，也許下次國家隊名單就會有變化 。”
